Mr. Wallace Bernard Copeland, age 64, was born on July 10, 1961, in Warm Springs, Georgia, to the late Johnny Copeland and Louvonia Copeland. He was a native of Shiloh, Georgia, where he spent his early years growing up in the St. Paul community before later making Piney Grove Baptist Church his church home.
Wallace was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and family man. He was united in marriage to Jimmie Copeland, with whom he shared a life of love and commitment.
A hardworking and dedicated provider, Wallace was employed with Georgia Power for over 30 years, where he faithfully served until his retirement. Following his retirement, he continued his commitment to service by working with the Meriwether County Maintenance Department.
He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife Jimmie Copeland;his two children, Cassie Jade Martin (Brandon) and Chasity Shanna Copeland; two grandchildren, Brandi Jade Martin and Callie Jade Martin; one sister, Pamela Buchanan (Bobby); six sisters-in-law; three brother-in-laws; and a host of nieces and nephews, all of whom he held close to his heart.
Mr. Wallace Bernard Copeland will be remembered for his strong work ethic, deep love for his family, faith, and the lasting impression he made on all who knew him.
